Terms and Conditions

This list is quick over view of our T&Cs – a full and exhaustive list of our T&Cs will also be given to you.


All courses must be paid for 2 weeks in advance to secure your time slot.  Swim Accelerations reserves the right to give the slot away if it has not been paid for prior to the start date.


All bookings will be on a first come first serve basis.


All lessons should be booked term by term and must be paid for in full at the start.


We are unable to make up any group or private sessions missed by the swimmer due to sickness or holidays.


Sickness/absence for private lessons – Swim Acceleration will only offer 1 make-up lesson per booking (depending on availability) should we be informed of the cancellation a minimum of 48 hours before hand.  Any cancellations received within 48hours of the lesson then no make-up lesson will be offered.  No refunds or credit notes are available for any cancellations due to sickness/absence.


From time to time we may need to provide a cover coach for your child’s lesson.


Should any lessons be cancelled by ourselves for any reason we will arrange a makeup lesson, offer a credit note for the following term or a refund for that lesson only.


For the Health & Safety of the children we ask that you do not distract or try to have a conversation with the swim coach whilst the lessons are in progress.  If you need to speak with your coach then leave a message at reception or send a message to


All equipment for the lessons is provided by the swim school.


New swimmers to the school may be asked to complete an assessment in the first week so that we can identify which is the most suitable group for them to be assigned too.


Members of The Pavilion Club get a £2.50 per lesson discount on all swim courses and get priority booking on availability.

Health and Safety and Hygiene Rules:


  • Please make sure that you the swimmer/or your child the swimmer has not eaten any less than 30 minutes prior to the lesson.
  • You must use the toilet and shower before getting into the pool.
  • No outdoor shoes to be worn on pool side.
  • No running on pool side.
  • No diving.
  • No bombing.
  • No food and drink to be consumed on pool side or in the changing room areas.
  • It is the parents responsibility to ensure the good behaviour of their children whilst waiting for lessons and after the lesson.
  • Please be prompt in collecting your child after their lesson as the instructor may have another class to teach and will not be able to take responsibility for your child's safety after the lesson.
